Madlum is kind of like my stage name, Madeline or better known as Mads is who you’ll be working with. I’m a sucker for an editorial black and white photo, a thrifted dress that still has the tags on it and doing a “lap” of the pub.

For the last 8 years I have working in marketing, mostly real estate in Central West NSW. I have been an artist for as long as I can remember. Before I ever picked up a camera the pencil was my weapon of choice. I feel this strongly influences the way I capture people and light.

In 2024 I expanded on my real estate photography skills launching Madlum Creates, specialising in brand photography working with local businesses to capture their commercial spaces, teams and services.

In December of that same year I started doing branding shoots in my own commercial space. “The Studio on Camp St” in Forbes, NSW. In September 2025 I welcomed my son Sterling to the world and business went on the back burner.

In January 2026 I returned to the studio, a space that continues to meet the needs of a variety of businesses from wedding co-ordinators, psychologists, OTs, artists, yoga and pilates instructors and more!
